Completed in 2004, the Holmgren Athletic Complex is among North Park’s most functional and heavily used facilities. The complex includes the Ted Hedstrand softball, baseball, soccer, and football fields, designed for both practice and play for recreational and intercollegiate use. The field features a state-of-the-art, injury-reducing artificial turf system, new bleachers, and a press box. Field lighting enables the complex to be used into the evening hours, providing more flexibility in programming.

Finished in the fall of 2006, the Helwig Recreation Center is a state-of-the-art fitness and athletic facility. It houses two hardwood courts, thirty-five yards of synthetic grass surface, a 200-meter indoor running track, batting cages, a 5,000 square-foot weight facility, a climbing wall, a two-level fitness area, four classrooms, thirteen offices, and a fully equipped athletic training area.

The North Park Gymnasium in Carlson Tower seats 1,800 people and is home to North Park's basketball and volleyball teams. The opening ceremony of each school year and Commencement for mid-year and Spring graduation also occur in the North Park Gymnasium.
